business impression The list for making a good business impression is endless; however, below I’ve listed some of the ones that I feel are most important fundamentally. After this, the rest seem to fall into place effortlessly.

Buisness Image

Know that your business, as a whole, is constantly on display. Image from top to bottom, can range from employee’s personalities, to the way the dress as well as the actual space in which your business resides. Whatever it is that your business model is working to convey, go with it and go all in. You never know who you are going to meet on any given day. So it’s important to keep this up on all spectrums.

Be On Time

Whether it’s a business meeting with a potential client, or an internal staff meeting to get on the same page; be there when you say you are going to be there. Timeliness sets the tone for just about everything else. Not to mention the importance of showing prospects and/or clients that their time is equally as precious as yours. 8 AM means 8 AM… Not 8:13 AM.

Kill the Competition Kindly

No need to bad mouth a competitor; it’s just tacky. And people looking to use or invest in your business will agree. If you’re a better deal than the next guy in line, make that known, rather than focus on why they are a bad choice. These sorts of actions speak louder than words.

Don’t Lose Dollars Chasing Pennies

It doesn’t take much for people to feel like they’re being taken advantage of.  And vise versa; it doesn’t take much to make them feel appreciated. Sometimes this can come with a price tag. Candy at the front desk? Small holiday gifts. Remember: It’s the small things that count. This is the sort of things that people remember and companies often lose sight of.
